6 Hutchison’s design block continues to work alongside Artist in resident Dillon Ryan on a career fair, learning about the different jobs that exist in the Canadian Music Industry.
Yesterday they had the opportunity to connect with Musician/Producer/Composer John Mullane of popular Halifax based band In-Flight Safety. The students got to learn about John’s success as a member of In-Flight Safety. From touring, making albums and an early endorsement from David Bowie that inspired them to keep working hard at Music, they also learned about writing music for film and tv and how songs he’s worked on ending up in TV shows such “The Office” and commercials such as Toyota (which aired during the Super Bowl).
